Logo for Department of Economics & Statistics

Government of Kerala vide order GO(Rt) No.426/2025/P&EA dated 10-10-2025 has permitted to use a new official logo for Departmnent of Economics and Statistics, Kerala. The logo model is given below.

Theme of Logo

• Coconut and paddy, the main cash crops of Kerala, are seen on both sides.
• Illustration representing Kerala's land, houses and surroundings, roads, rivers, land, and mountains.
• The Sahyadri mountain range of Kerala is given in bar chart form.
• The rising sun is depicted in the shape of an Indian coin.
• The arrow mark indicates the economic growth of Kerala.

The new logo was officially released on 2nd December 2025 by Dr. Veena N Madhavan IAS, Special Secretary, Planning & Economics Affairs Department, Government of Kerala.

During the function held in the office of the Special Secretary, Sri. G S Rajath, Director of Economics & Statistics, Smt. Resmi C P, Additional Director, Smt. Shailamma K, Additional Director, Sri. D S Shibukumar, Deputy Director and Sri. Hareesh S, Senior Statistical Officer were present.
