Mission Antyodaya 2022

The Antyodaya mission was launched to aid people in rural areas. It aims to eliminate poverty. The Ministry of rural development recently launched Mission Antyodaya Survey 2022-23. The survey is to be conducted in two lakh sixty-nine thousand gram panchayats in the country. It is to be conducted using questionnaires. Around 21 areas will be covered. 183 indicators have been chosen to cover 21 areas. The areas covered in the survey include fisheries, agriculture, fuel and fodder, good governance, roads, communication, etc.

  • Census Survey on Sperm Banks in Kerala

are the surveys completed in the State in 2023. 

Study on impact of Covid-19 on Pravasis in Kerala due to Covid-19

This sample survey is also conducted in selected regions in rural and urban areas based on the NSS 78th Round FSU. The department investigators visited the households to collect the data on the impact of Covid-19 in Pravasis who were not returned from their home land after the relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions. 

 

Cost of Cultivation Survey 2023-24

This survey is conducted to collect information related to the cost of cultivation of important agricultural crops in the state. The Cost of Cultivation Survey for the year 2022-23 has been complete.

 

Soil Conservation Survey 2023-24

Soil Conservation Survey is an evaluation study of the soil conservation / flood prevention projects  implemented by the Soil Conservation department in each district. The survey for the year  2022-23 has been completed.

 

ASI Survey (Annual Survey of Industries)

Annual Survey of Industries is one of the major surveys conducted annualy by DES on a financial year basis  on the organized/ registered manufacturing sectors with the assistance of NSO. The survey is conducted to estimate the contribution of the  industrial sector to the country’s growth.The survey for 2019-20 has been completed.

 

National Sample Survey (NSS)

The 79th National sample Survey was conducted from July 2022 to June 2023.This survey was conducted to prepare the indices of sustainable development goals to be achieved by the country by 2030.The data underlying the sustainable development indices was collected through the CAMS survey and the information related to AYUSH treatment system was collected through the AYUSH survey.

 

Wage Structure Survey

Wage Structure Survey is conducted for a period of five years. The on going survey started in 2022 and ends in 2027. The main objective of the survey is focused on collection of wage details of lobourers in construction units and selected shops for determining  their wages scale.The survey for the year 2022-23 has been completed.
