DATA ANALYTICS UNIT

The Data Analytics Unit, a new venture of the Department of Economics and Statistics has been established to promote the efficient use of data in this era of fast-paced technological advancement.  The unit encourages excellence in data and analytics using latest Data Science tools such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Arithmetic Modelling etc. for framing new strategies and formulating new policies in myriad fields.  Thus, the main objective of the unit is to transform data from various sectors into valuable information that provides insights for decision-making focused on development. The unit is working as a sub-unit of Planning, Publication and Co-ordination Division of the Department.
